Coldwater Lake is a beautiful place to take couples photos and has an incredible view of Mt Saint Helens! I had such a blast at this couples photo session with Alex and Alexis.
Alexis found me via Instagram through a friend of hers I had taken photos of previously here in the PNW. She said she loved the tones of my images and the candidness I had captured.
Originally we had plans to hit up Mount Rainier, but it got completely snowed out and we made a last minute change to this spot! Coldwater Lake was a stunning backup, and perfect for their couples photos.
Once we got to Coldwater Lake, we started off at the lakebed for some pictures and gradually moved down the trail for more. Coldwater Lake has a lot of docks that overlook the lake and give epic views of the mountain in the background.
I seriously love when couples reach out to me to photograph them just because. You don’t have to be engaged, married, expecting, celebrating, etc. Just celebrate YOU! You both can always have a just-because session. If you are interested in a photo session just like this one, let’s chat!
