“Us Phoenicians gotta stick together” — this is one of the phrases that stuck out to me the most during this engagement session in Lake Oswego, Oregon!

Brittany and Shane first crossed paths in high school in Arizona and later reconnected in their college years. Like me, they moved to Oregon and are loving it so far. The two newlyweds have been out here since February, and we reminisced about how quickly time flies out here! Since we both lived in the same area, we decided to do their engagement session in Lake Oswego. We started at Tryon Creek and moving to the downtown area a little bit later.

The two brought their newly rescued pup Jaxon who totally stole the show in every photo. Just a few years old, Jaxon was SO well behaved and the perfect good boy. I couldn’t help but ask them to give him a bunch of pets every time he was in pictures!

I had such a great time hanging out with Brittany and Shane. After our session we grabbed drinks at Stickmens in Lake Oswego, sat by the fire outside and just chatted about life out here. Not only did I have an amazing time at the session, but feel so grateful for the friendship formed with these two.
