This beautiful wedding at the Windmill Winery in Arizona was such a blast and it went by in a flash. Brittany and Shane prepared for their special day in their separate suites, but both of them were able to help their sons get ready between.
The wedding had so many classy touches, like her golden hairpiece, the hand-made name cards on gems, the eucalyptus being a big part of the florals and much more.
When Brittany came down the aisle, she was a stunning bride; and Shane’s tears that followed were the first of many from all in attendance. Accompanied by her sons, she walked down the steps at the Windmill Winery and met her soon-to-be husband at the alter.
More tears were exchanged, vows to both each other and their children, and a final knot-tying ceremony made things official.
One of my favorite parts about this Windmill Winery wedding was the two had a special friend serving drinks at the cocktail hour – a donkey!! It was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. Brittany and Shane shared a drink next to their furry friend and we went to take some more bride and groom photos shortly after.
The Windmill Winery is a huge property for a wedding venue, and it is lush with green despite being in Arizona. We took advantage of it with some of their photos afterwards.
They kept their reception casual, with toasts from close friends, their first dances, and a little open dancing afterward. During a point, Brittany took one of her sons out to dance in the ceremony area; it was peaceful and quiet.
I am so grateful I had a chance to photograph this Windmill Winery wedding with Kali, my partner in crime, and I look forward to shooting at this venue again in the future!
