It had been some time since I’d been to the botanical gardens for a session, and man was I counting down the days until I could shoot there with Sierra and Josh. It was a cool Arizona “fall” night – a slight breeze blowing through the gardens as the sun began to set. When the two arrived, I almost fell over because they looked SO GOOD! Sierra had just finished her hair and makeup trial with Beyond Bridal Beauty and she looked FABULOUS! Yas queen, she worked that updo.

Despite the fact that the botanical gardens was packed with families and couples getting their photos taken close to the holiday season, we were able to get some pictures pretty much everywhere. The amount of smiles, laughter and the feeling of closeness and connection was never-ending.

I remember meeting Sierra and Josh for our consult at a Starbucks in Tempe. It was funny because the same day I had the consultation with them, there was a DJ meeting with a couple getting married at that exact Starbucks. Such a small world considering there are so many Starbucks scattered all over Arizona.

These two are getting married at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Phoenix, which is actually one of the first places I ever had a photo session at when I was just starting up. I’m so excited to go back again years later and to celebrate with them. They are two genuine people who have been madly in love and are ready to tie the knot, at last (they were engaged for three years)! Thank you Sierra and Josh for trusting in me to celebrate such a special, intimate moment in your lives. I am counting down the days until November 24th!
