These maternity photos of Alysha and Rich at Powell Butte state park are one word: DREAMY!

Alysha and Rich may look familiar because they were one of my 2021 couples and their wedding was featured on Oregon Bride mag!! Alysha and Rich had the most beautiful bohemian wedding at one of my favorite Oregon wedding venues, The Old Schoolhouse.

These two are such beautiful people, it was so easy to photograph them! When we got to Powell Butte state park it was already so hot – it was the week where Oregon decided to be in the mid to high 90s all week long and MAN was it sunny! Alysha pushed through all the photos like a champ though, and they are freaking dreamy. You can even see Mount Hood popping through in some of the first photos and all the wildflowers are insane!

Powell Butte state park is one of my favorite places to shoot, especially in the summertime, because it is so full of life and beautiful flowers. There is a little bit of construction going on nearby but you’d never be able to tell from these photos! Actually, could you guess that we took the first set (with the blue dress) just a few yards away from the visitor center? YEP! I was shocked at how easy it was! Also completely obsessing over how they brought their fur babies – Tina and Zeus, to include in a few photos.

We chased the sunset until we got the very last drop of light, and after the photoshoot was done I hugged the group goodbye and raced straight home to edit a few previews! I had to!
