This beach elopement on the Oregon Coast holds a special place in my heart. Courtney and Ethan planned such an epic way to celebrate their marriage!
Courtney and Ethan reached out to me after finding my work online and feeling that it aligned perfectly with their vision. Their vision being so incredibly epic – wanting to have wedding photos at both the beach and in the middle of the forest! Courtney had two separate bouquets. The first bouquet was neutral and fit perfectly for their vows and ring exchange in the middle of the woods. The second bouquet was tropical and popped brilliantly amongst the moody Oregon Coast.
How They Met
“We met in residency, fell hard in love and knew that was it! Then we moved across the country together for fellowship, and after a complete surprise cliffside proposal in August we are finally making some plans.”
Their Beach Elopement Inspiration
“We have visions of an Oregon coast elopement with a forest and beach option- some type of classic english lace style with an artsy hipster vibe. I am thinking gorgeous forest photos, followed by some beach pics, a bottle of champagne and a mini cake.”
Things to do at the Oregon Coast
- Pelican Brewing in Cannon Beach and Pacific City is an iconic place for food and drinks – you have to go!
- Visit Hug Point, which is a quick 8 minute drive from the Haystack Area. Check out a session I did at Hug Point right here!
- Low tide is going to be best to utilize the entire area when getting married. When it’s high tide you cannot get as close to Haystack Rock as you see in these photos.
- If you’re a huge foodie like me, check out Wayfarer, Zingers ice cream, Crepe Neptune, Grizzly Tuna or Sea Star Gelato!
Without further ado, let’s get into these engagement photos on the Oregon Coast! If you are interested in locking me down as your photographer for your own epic session, contact me here!
