It’s always a treat when I get to travel to downtown Seattle for engagement photos! When Mary and Garrett reached out to me to photograph their big moment I was SO excited for them! I’ve met Mary and Garrett previously doing family photos of them and their two fur babies so it was the greatest honor to get to capture their engagement.

Since these two live in the Seattle area, we decided to book their engagement photos closer to them. For those who are new here, I live in Portland Oregon and it’s about a three hour drive from Seattle area! When it comes to Downtown Seattle engagement photos, I love photos in the Pioneer Square area and by Pike Place district. So many amazing spots to take photos and really get those beautiful city vibes.

We started off with a dressier outfit taking photos on a parking garage rooftop and it was a blast. The weather in Seattle was overcast and created the most beautiful light for photography. I loved Mary’s dress with her cowboy boots – she looked absolutely gorgeous! We laughed, we danced and we celebrated their engagement! When we were ready to change into outfit two (their more casual outfit) we decided to take the elevator down and walk around the streets of downtown Seattle.
