Elegant Arizona Wedding at the Views at Superstition

March 26, 2019

I am so excited to be blogging this beautiful and elegant wedding in Arizona, and my first wedding of 2019 at the Views at Superstition!

Damariz reached out to me last year and when she told me her vision for the wedding and love story, I couldn’t WAIT for her special day. Her and Luis have been together for a looooong time and this wedding has been long overdue! The two have a special love — the kind that remains strong despite so much distance. Luis has to travel for his job and so the two have spent some serious time apart from each other. However, their engagement session felt like not a day had gone by where they weren’t by each others’ side. Talk about freakin’ chemistry and romantic as heck.

I absolutely love the Views at the Superstition and it has of my favorite indoor reception areas in Arizona. There’s a beautiful ambient lighting with chandeliers, high ceilings and private rooms for the respective parties to get ready before their big day. Not to mention, the further east you drive out on the 60, the more of Arizona’s beautiful desert unfolds. There were spots everywhere for beautiful pictures.

Dama and Luis got married on a golf course just about a mile away from the venue. One of my favorite parts about the ceremony was when Damariz walked with her mother and Luis saw her for the first time. The way the sun was peeking out from behind them as they made their way over the hill was absolutely stunning. And talk about a beautiful bride!

After the ceremony, we snuck away for some formal bride and groom photos just down the road from the ceremony area. One of my favorite parts of the wedding day is this time during the cocktail hour for portraits. It’s a nice chance for the bride and groom to spend time with each other and soak in the first few moments of being officially married. This time with Dama and Luis was full of laughter, smiles and intimate moments as husband and wife.

The remainder of the night was easygoing. We drove back to the venue (I always love driving the bride and groom places, makes me feel like a classy chauffer *sunglasses emoji*) and prepared for the grand entrance. Dama and Luis made their way in and dinner was served. Toasts were given and tearful smiles were exchanged. As the night continued on, the dancing became more and more fun. Let me tell you, Damariz, Luis and their whole family have enough energy to get me through the rest of my 2019 wedding season. Those people can dance!

Dama and Luis, thank you for such a spectacular way to start my wedding season. I had so much fun and I am incredibly thankful you chose me to tell your love story. Every time I look at these photos I get to relive the day you both got married and it is SO heart-warming. Cheers to an eternity of special moments together and thank you again!
