Mt Hood is an amazing place to get your photos taken. It is lush with trees and wildlife, tucked away and private. When Kristina and Ben reached out to me saying they were staying in Mt Hood for a vacation, I was thrilled to photograph them.
Kristina and Ben have such a strong connection and love for each other. It’s really hard to put into words but I am going to try my best to describe it. Ben and Kristina shared a mutual friend. That friend ended up bringing Ben to the restaurant Kristina was serving at, sitting in her section, and the rest was history. Their favorite things to do? Basically anything together. As long as they are spending time with each other, they are at peace and happy. They have enormous hearts, and were so welcoming to me, a total stranger. Turns out after our session we found out we had a LOT in common – a mutual love for Dutch Bros and iced chais, a massive fear of spiders (haha), and an adoration for the Pacific Northwest.
