Beautiful Vineyard Elopement – Marie and Grayson

December 10, 2020

This couple decided to elope at a Vineyard in Oregon instead of postponing legally getting married. It was the best thing ever.

Marie and Grayson are some of my favorite humans ever. I was so thrilled to photograph their Oregon vineyard elopement. You may remember them from my engagement shoot at Ecola State Park with them last year! Well, these two lovebirds were supposed to get married in August this year but those plans changed due to the pandemic. We worked with each other to push their elopement back to October, but as the day drew closer, there were still too many restrictions in place to allow them to have their wedding. They are totally in love, and couldn’t have been more excited to get married. Although the state regulations for COVID were putting a damper on their backup plans, they decided to move forward with an elopement at Durant Vineyards. They were ready to get freakin’ married!

Durant is an Oregon vineyard that is stunning and was perfect for their elopement. These two were members already so setting it up to have their ceremony was easy. The vineyard has multiple tasting rooms and an olive oil mill. They have spectacular views of Oregon as well.

We had Marie and Grayson’s ceremony at the vineyard under a private cabana. Just a few family members and their two close friends from Arizona were in attendance. I loved that their friends came down to associate their ceremony together. After the vows and rings were exchanged, they sealed their marriage with a kiss and it was done! We moved onto a wine tasting with their friends and family while they signed their marriage license and toasted afterwards. Durant Vineyards had a ton of really cool places for us to take photos: in the olive fields, the vineyards, and some woods that used to be an old Christmas tree lot. I loved the variety that allowed us to get a lot of bride and groom photos after they were married.

I am so happy with how this day turned out and can’t wait to see them again next year when we do a large reception to celebrate with more friends and family!
