Oswego Hills Winery Wedding Photos

Oswego Hills Winery | West Linn, Oregon | A Vineyard Wedding Lover’s Dream

Oswego Hills Winery is the dreamiest wedding venue for the modern wedding couple in the Portland, Oregon area.

Oswego Hills Winery is one of my favorite wedding venues close by to the Portland metro area! I’ve photographed weddings at Oswego Hills many times, and each time is such a treat. This wedding venue, located in West Linn, is only 30 minutes from the Portland airport and nearby main highways for easy guests’ travel.

What the venue has to offer:

This venue is the perfect spot for a couple who wants both indoor and outdoor options. It boasts several large indoor spaces and a lawn area with views of the Willamette valley. The winery barrel room can host 100 people for a standing reception or 45 for an intimate seated dinner. For a larger celebration, the Oswego Hills Event Center can host up to 200 guests for dinner and dancing indoors. If you’re considering having a summer wedding, the sprawling lawns make for a beautiful outdoor ceremony and reception sites that can accommodate more than 300 guests.

About the Owners

I’ve personally worked with the owners of Oswego Hills at each wedding I’ve photographed there, and they are wonderful people. Reagan and Derek pour everything they have into helping their couples create the wedding of their dreams! You can add on day of coordination through Reagan at the venue for a lower price than most outside coordinators will charge.

The best times to have a wedding, and information on seasons

Since Oswego Hills is a winery, let’s talk about the times of year when the venue is looking its absolute best. Summer weddings tend to be the most popular here because this is when the growing season reaches its fullest potential. Lush green grapes decorate the vineyards and late sunsets allow the dreamiest sunset portraits during the reception.

You can have a fall wedding here as well, as harvesting usually happens late August-October depending on the growth cycle of the grapes.

I have photographed a wedding at Oswego Hills in the off-season, and it’s still a beautiful venue, but you won’t want to take any photos in the vineyard area. The stalks will be dried up and dead in the winter time.

Kylee and Ben’s Classic Dusty Blue Wedding Day

Let’s move on to what this blog post is all about – and that’s Kylee and Ben’s wedding day! I was so impressed with Kylee and Ben from the moment I met with them and learned their big plans for the wedding. Throughout the planning process, Kylee was organized and sent me mood boards, details and vendor introductions. I truly believe she could be a wedding planner/designer if her heart ever calls her to do that!

The theme of the wedding day was “something blue”. They leaned into it through dusty blue runners, vintage china, chinoiserie china and classic white linens.  The couple also added a custom monogram to their bar for a more elevated look.

The flowers also complimented the theme well. Full lush white Polo garden roses and white peonies paired with light blue tweedia made up her bridal bouquet. Simple white hydrangeas created full soft bridesmaids bouquets
